Kent Registration Services (part of Kent County Council) 
In 2000 we took over management of one website for Kent Registration Service.
At the time Kent's index of Wedding Venues was held online at www.akentishwedding.co.uk.
Taking over the site in order to make it more managable, and develop its features and
facilities, we immediately converted it from a collection of flat files and perl scripts into
a PHP and MySQL based system.
Redevelopment of the site's image and layout followed in late 2003, resulting in a more up-to-date feel, and the general this, together with a general rise in the popularity of the Internet in connection with wedding planning led an increase in traffic and visitor feedback. Wedding Venues were now seeing significant interest via the website. Also during 2003, we developed several other regigstration related sites, covering baby welcoming, vow renewal, the history of registration in Kent, and the Kent's Approved Premises (often referred to as Register Offices). In 2005 we started re-developing the A Kentish Wedding image again, and restructuring the site to improve search engine compatibility.
